


National Engineering’s Structural Division is a major player in the
construction of large structural steel projects for commercial, industrial
and retail projects
including sport stadiums, car parks, rail stations, bridges, mine sites, coal
handling facilities, multi-storey buildings, bulk grain storage, rural products,
power generating plant components, shopping centres and distribution facilities.
Manufacture, surface coatings and erection of the above is executed and coordinated from the Head Office and Fabrication Works, located in Young, New South Wales, south-west of Sydney.
The company has successfully completed projects in Sydney, Canberra, Townsville and Melbourne with project tonnages up to 9000 tonne. Examples of recent successful projects include Stadium Australia, the Olympic Veladrome and Aquatic Centre in Sydney, Sydney Casino, the National Museum and 3200 tonne DFO in Canberra.
National operates state of the art manufacturing equipment utilizing CNC and Robotic technology, and manages information flow on the projects using a sophisticated IT system.
